Do I need a brace for sports after my ACL injury?

Are CTi braces covered by insurance?

The level of coverage is dependent upon your insurance plan and can be confirmed with your insurance provider. Ask them if you are covered for a rigid ligament support knee brace. Funding for CTi braces may also be provided to eligible candidates through workers compensation, transport accident, Veteran's Affairs and other government funding schemes. Contact us for further details.

How can I be fitted for a brace?

If you are interested in purchasing the CTi please contact us, and we will be able to help you further.

What are the main differences between Custom and Off-The-Shelf (OTS) braces?

The CTi Custom is hand-crafted to your exact leg size and shape. Photographs and measurements are taken of your leg and a custom sized frame is manufactured. There is also the option to have custom paint jobs on the CTi Custom, varying from changing the colour to fully personalized designs. (Custom colors are an extra cost).

The CTi Custom has two rigid lateral arms for further stability, because having your exact measurements allows us to manufacture a brace with a more intimate fit and a larger contact area to the leg.

The CTi OTS comes in a range of set frame sizes. The OTS can be adapted with different sizes of straps and padding which allow you to achieve the closest possible fit. Flexible subshells allow a customized fit.

The warranty options differ between the products and the different product parts.

Can the CTi be used in water?

Yes, all CTi braces are non-corrosive and have been designed with water sports in mind. We recommend the use of an over sleeve when participating in water sports to ensure that straps will remain firmly attached in high-speed falls. If you will be using the brace in salt water, be sure to rinse the brace and the straps with clean water after each use to remove any salt or debris that might remain.
