Meghan Long is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the owner of Local Physical Therapy. She specializes in the rehabilitation of both operative and non-operative injuries, with a strong focus on sports medicine. Her passion for the field was shaped by her experience as a Division I soccer player and later as an Athletic Trainer at CU Sports Medicine, providing her with firsthand insight into the demands of high-level athletics. This background fuels her commitment to helping athletes of all levels—from weekend warriors to professional competitors—return to peak performance.
With an evidence-based approach, Meghan develops personalized care plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. She integrates detailed education, manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, and corrective exercises to optimize recovery and performance. Dedicated to restoring function and preventing future injuries, she takes a hands-on approach to treatment, empowering patients with the knowledge and tools to achieve unrestricted movement and long-term success.
A fourth-generation Colorado native, Meghan embraces an active lifestyle outside the clinic. She enjoys skiing, mountain biking, competing in CrossFit, and making the most of the Colorado outdoors with her Golden Retriever, Dr. B.
