Kendall Mulvaney, PA‑C

Physician Assistant

Kendall Mulvaney profile

Kendall Mulvaney, PA‑C is a physician assistant at The Joint Preservation Center in Denver, Colorado. Prior to joining the team, she practiced emergency/urgent care medicine at Denver Health, serving a diverse patient population throughout the community. This experience of evaluating and managing acute musculoskeletal and sports‑related injuries set the foundation for her transition into orthopedic care.

She has also been involved in orthopedic research since 2022 at the University of Denver’s Center for Orthopaedic Biomechanics. Through multidisciplinary collaboration with biomedical engineers at various stages of training, she has developed a broad, evidence‑based understanding of medicine. Education is a cornerstone of her practice, and she is passionate about both teaching future healthcare providers and empowering patients through learning and shared decision‑making.

As a former Division I soccer and lacrosse athlete at the University of Denver, her personal experience with multiple season‑ending injuries shaped her interest in sports medicine from the patient perspective. She completed her physician assistant training at Boston University School of Medicine, where her master’s thesis focused on the risk of reinjury following sports‑related concussions. She is dedicated to helping athletes of all levels restore function, maintain joint health, and return to the activities they enjoy.

Outside of work, she enjoys staying active and is always looking for recommendations: good movie, board game, restaurant, recipe, and/or album!
